Privacy policy
Last updated November 5, 2026
Sheet Reminders is a Google Sheets add-on made by Bullseye Interviews, Inc. ("we"). It sends reminders about the dates in your spreadsheets. This policy says what Google user data the add-on reads, what it does with it, where it is kept, and who sees it.
The short version
- Your spreadsheets stay in your Google account. The add-on reads them inside Google, and we never copy their contents to our servers.
- The only thing that reaches our server is your Google email address, so we can tell whether your subscription is paid.
- We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your data to train AI models.
What the add-on accesses, and why
| Permission Google shows you | What we use it for |
|---|---|
| See, edit, create and delete your Google Sheets spreadsheets | Read the dates, items and people in the spreadsheets where you turn reminders on; write the Reminders log and service log tabs there; move a repeating row to its next date when you tick Done; create a new spreadsheet when you pick a template that way. Google asks for this wide permission because reminders run every hour while the spreadsheet is closed, and a closed spreadsheet cannot be reached with the narrower "this spreadsheet only" permission. The add-on opens only the spreadsheets where you switched reminders on. |
| Send email as you | Send the reminders you set up, a test reminder to you, and notes to you about your reminders (a weekly summary, a warning if something stops working, and trial and subscription notices). Reminders go only to the people your rule names. |
| Allow this application to run when you are not present | Create the hourly timer that checks your dates while the spreadsheet is closed. |
| Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars | Show the add-on's sidebar inside Google Sheets. |
| Connect to an external service | Ask our licence server whether your subscription is paid. |
| See your primary Google Account email address | Know who the reminders come from, and look up your subscription. |
When a reminder rule uses people picked with "@" in a cell (people chips), the add-on reads those chips through the Google Sheets API to get the email addresses, covered by the spreadsheet permission above.
Where your data is kept
- In your Google account: your reminder rules, the record of which reminders were sent, and the add-on's status are stored in the add-on's private storage in your Google account (Apps Script user properties) and in the log tabs of your own spreadsheet. We cannot read them.
- On our licence server (hosted on Cloudflare): your Google email address, whether your subscription is paid, your Stripe customer ID if you subscribe, and the date this last changed. Nothing from your spreadsheets.
- With Stripe, if you subscribe: Stripe processes the payment under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your card number.
Who we share it with
No one, except the service providers above that run the licence server (Cloudflare) and take payments (Stripe), and only for those purposes. We share data if the law requires it. We do not sell or rent data, and we do not transfer it to data brokers, advertisers or anyone else.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Sheet Reminders's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide and improve the reminders you set up, we do not use it for advertising, and no person at Bullseye Interviews, Inc. reads it unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security, or the law requires it. We do not use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
- To stop the add-on, open it and turn your reminders off, or remove it under Extensions > Add-ons > Manage add-ons. To revoke its access, go to myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- The log tabs are part of your spreadsheet; delete them whenever you like.
- Your record on our licence server is kept while you use the add-on. Write to support@sheetreminders.com and we delete it within 30 days. Stripe keeps payment records as the law requires.
Security
The add-on runs on Google's Apps Script. Our licence server accepts only encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and payment events are accepted only when Stripe's signature checks out.
Children
Sheet Reminders is a work tool and is not meant for children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use Google user data, we tell you by email before it takes effect.
